Today was the much celebrated Rudi Wiest Tasting at Lawry's. It's one of the most looked forward to tastings of the year. About a hundred German wines and some fantastic German food. Some really wonderful Auslese and Spatlase. Some real eye openers.
Especially this, a Spatburgunder (pinot Noir) that I actually liked. This is definitely a first for me!
