Down there in the middle of the picture is the town of Telluride. It's amazing to think that just a week ago I was 6 feet below sea level in New Orleans. In this picture, I'm up at over 10,000 ft! The air up here is thin and I'm experiencing slight altitude sickness but it's no big deal. Basically headaches and shortness of breath. But I'm drinking plenty of water and taking it easy. No snowboarding for my first full day here, just riding around on the Gondola and checking out the town.
