One of the best parts of driving along with no particular agenda is that you can pull off and check things out if you feel like it. Case in point, Capulin Volcano. This guy shoots up over 8000 ft at the top and you can walk along the rim to get a 360 view of the surrounding peaks and flats. Really didn't think I'd be walking around the snow covered rim of a volcano when I woke up that morning.
