My suggestion was that they could render this sign unnecessary by not having this humdinger of a fucking Matisse hanging right where it would be so tempting...
Can you say clear vase? Or is it merely a glaze that perfectly showcases the contours of the table? Perhaps a pentimento from his blue period? All I can say is, I know full well when I brush with greatness.
